Frequently Asked Questions
What kind of wax do you use?
The environment is important to us! We use all-natural soy wax in our candles and all-natural coconut wax in our Firestarters, free of harmful paraffins. Our commitment to environmentally friendly practices allows us to maintain our customers’ health while keeping the planet safe.

Our fragrances do not contain carcinogens, mutagens, or toxins that can cause adverse effects from a single exposure. Have peace of mind using our candles in your home, around your family, and in your business.
How do I burn my wood wick candles?
First Burn:
We have trimmed your wicks for your first burn.
It may take more than once to light your wick. This is normal.
To ensure an even burn, light across the entire wick.
Burn your candle for about 4 hours the first time, allowing the wax pool to reach the edges of your jar. If you fail to burn your candle for the necessary length of time, the melted wax will not extend to the sides of the jar, and in subsequent burns, it will tunnel down the center.
After Each Burn: Always trim your wicks by using your fingers to remove the blackened tip.
Candle Life: It’s time for a new candle when about 1/2” of wax is remaining.
General Burning Tips:
Never leave a burning candle unattended.
Keep burning candles away from flammable materials, children and pets.
Do not place candles on or near other heat sources.
Burn the candles on heat-resistant surfaces.
Extinguish candles with great care ensuring that hot wax does not splatter.
Keep the hot wax pool free of wick trimmings, matches, or any other flammable materials.
Do not allow anything to drop into the hot wax pool such as parts of the wick or a match as in very rare occasions this can cause a candle to explode.
How do I use my Glow + Grow Candles?
It’s easy! Simply clean out your container, remove the wicks, add your own soil, and plant the provided seeds.
Our containers do NOT have drainage holes at the bottom! That would be one messy candle! Therefore, do not over-water. It is best to sprinkle with water every few days just enough to keep the soil moist.
Because these plants start from seed, they will take some time to germinate. Make sure your plant has adequate light.
Re-pot or replant outside once they grow too large for their containers.
As always, contact us if you have any questions!
How do I use my Firestarters?
This is not a candle. Use to light fires in wood burning fireplaces, campfires, and outdoor fire pits. Place the firestarter on top of your wood, and light the wick.
WARNING: Only burn in wood burning fireplaces or outdoor fire pits. Do not use in gas burning fireplaces or wood stoves.
